Great Western Recycling’s Mark Bywater Boxes for Cancer Research UK

Great Western Recycling is proud to have sponsored Sales Director Mark Bywater for his boxing match on Saturday 25 th September 2021 in aid of Cancer Research UK.

 

Alongside Matt Rees, Mark has undertaken numerous charity fundraising events over the years. Mark has climbed Kilimanjaro for Anthony Nolan following a bone marrow donation to the charity, him and Matt have completed the 3 Peaks Challenge for Huntington’s Disease, and have both run multiple marathons.

The next fundraising event for Mark is an ultra white collar boxing match on Saturday 25 th September 2021 for Cancer Research UK. The event will take place in Thornbury Leisure Centre from 4.30pm – 10pm. At the time of writing, over £16,000 has been raised for Cancer Research UK from this event!

Those who are unable to attend the event and support Mark in-person can donate to his JustGiving page.

 

Mark has never boxed before, but he had been training for most of 2021 in preparation. Since he began training, Mark lost over 3 stone and is now in fighting shape for Saturday.
